DETAILS
Celebrate Earth Day through mindful movement, reflection, and connection with nature. This special event weaves together sound healing with singing bowls, restorative yoga, nature and mindfulness practices. As you immerse yourself in nature, you’ll be invited to engage your senses and cultivate presence. Enjoy a deeply restorative yoga practice and sound bath meditation that encourages reflection and gratitude for the earth that sustains us. This workshop will take place at SLT’s Rush Ranch, a property rich in beauty, history, and ecological significance. Immersion in open space allows you to experience the calming rhythms of nature — wind moving through native grasses, the steady presence of horses, and the quiet expansiveness of protected land. This setting supports relaxation, nervous system balance, and a sense of belonging. The land connects all the people, plants, and animals that it touches. We will begin with sipping tea and writing in our journals. Together we will take a mindful walking meditation around the Ranch, tuning into all of our senses - sounds, textures, scents, and beauty. Returning to our circle, we move into restorative yoga inspired by nature. Our facilitator, Rachel Diaz, specializes in adapting yoga and movement for all bodies and abilities. To close our circle, we will plant seeds for you to bring home. By watering your seed daily, you cultivate a practice of renewal, and a commitment to nurturing both the Earth and yourself. What to Bring • Journal or notebook • Pencil or pen • Yoga mat • Open mind & open heart We have extra matts and notebooks available, if you don’t have these items at home. This workshop is free and open to all. Yoga exercises are designed to be accessible and adaptable for every body and ability.
